The RSS Glasgow Local Group are looking for new members to join our committee for 2024 onwards. We have 5 vacancies to fill.
As a committee member, you will get to contribute new ideas for local activities and help plan and deliver a programme of events. You will be joining an engaged and enthusiastic group from a diverse range of professions and sectors.
We usually organise five or six events a year to actively engage the local statistical community, as well as outreach activities with the science-minded population of Glasgow.
To express interest or discuss joining the committee, please contact Eilidh Jack, chair of the local group, by Monday 15 April 2024 with a paragraph (up to 200 words) summarising your background, why you would like to join, and what you will contribute to the committee. Please note that you will need to be a fellow of the RSS to take up a position.
