The 2021 L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science UK & Ireland Rising Talent Programme has opened for applications. The award seeks to promote, enhance and encourage the contribution of female early-career researchers who have already been awarded their research doctorate in the fields of life science, physical sciences, mathematics and computing, engineering or sustainable development, and are pursuing their research careers in the UK or Ireland.

Five winning scientists will receive a bursary of £15,000 (equivalent € for candidates in Ireland). The announcement will be made in September 2021.
