The Statistical Computing Section is looking for two volunteers to join its committee. The Section is interested in the application of computing in modern statistical analysis and organises meetings to promote developments and research.
The Statistical Computing Section Committee formally meets 3-4 times a year, either at our Errol Street office or virtually. As a committee member you will help plan and deliver a programme of scientific meetings to engage and foster interaction between the statistical and other related communities. The Society’s Sections also develop networks, provide educational opportunities and act as a focal point of expertise within the Society.
