RSS seeks new Remuneration and Staffing Committee member

The Society is seeking a volunteer to join its Remuneration and Staffing Committee. The committee, which reports to Council, works to manage the personnel of the Society, including remuneration, conditions of service, appraisal process, staff development and recruitment. The new member would sit on the Diversity and Inclusion Working Group and would be the link person from the Remuneration and Staffing Committee into that group.

Volunteers would normally serve a four-year term. The Remuneration and Staffing Committee formally meets twice a year, and the Diversity and Inclusion Working Group normally meets three times a year, with further ad hoc meetings as required with some correspondence by email in between meetings.

Interested candidates should have management experience and experience in dealing with HR matters. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with knowledge of, or interest in diversity, equality and inclusion. If you are interested, please contact Hetan Shah by 2 December 2018 at H.Shah@rss.org.uk.
