Second talk in RSSNI's seminar series.

We are pleased to have Professor Brendan Murphy come up  from UCD to speak to us in QUB  on Publishing in the Royal Statistical Society's Journal (comprising series  A, B, C and Data Science & AI). This will be a hybrid event with Prof. Murphy in Room G005 in the Maths & Physics Teaching Centre  (map) with an in-room audience and on-line using MS Teams (link).
 
Navigating the publication system

This talk gives an overview of what happens in the background when you submit a paper to a journal. The talk is based on my experience as an author, reviewer and editorial board member for several journals. The topic of the impact of AI on publications and the publication system will also be discussed.
