Samuel Bosomprah

Profile

Samuel Bosomprah has a PhD in biostatistics and epidemiology from the prestigious London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2012 and is the Head of Analysis Department at the Centre for Infectious Diseases Research in Zambia. Previously, he served as Senior Lecturer and Head of Department of Biostatistics at the University of Ghana School of Public Health. He has also worked as Senior Statistician and Head of M&E at the Ministry of Health in Ghana from 2002 to 2009. His research interest include: design and analysis of HIV/AIDs and Malaria intervention trials; methods for health surveys in developing countries; vaccine evaluation; and application of advanced statistical methods to answer complex research questions that involve multi-level/hierarchical/panel data. Samuel is a highly qualified and experienced biostatistician with well over 100 peer-reviewed journal publications.
