Venue hire

Venue hire is open to everyone - not just our members!

Set in a converted Victorian school close to the Barbican centre, our Errol Street headquarters provides you with a light, airy and flexible venue whatever the event you are organising.

12 Errol Street is ideally located near Old Street, Barbican and Moorgate tube stations as well as Liverpool Street railway station. Our venue offers flexible spaces that can accommodate up to 100 delegates.

What you can expect at the RSS:

  • Our rooms have secondary glazing, screens and AV facilities.
  • Capacity of up to 100 guests
  • Prices starting from as little as £590 for half a day
  • Full range of catering services available
  • Equipment hire: Laptop, Microphones, Flip charts

Whether it's an annual meeting, press launch or small seminar, we'll ensure your event runs smoothly from the moment you arrive until the last person leaves.

We have two rooms available for hire.

  • Council Chamber

    With bookcases lining the walls displaying statistical history, the Council Chamber is a calm space ideal for boardroom-style meetings, training seminars or evening receptions. This room can host board meetings of up to 20 or can accommodate 65 delegates theatre-style.

    Room includes a screen and a flip chart.

  • Lecture theatre

    Whether you are organising a lecture for 100 people, a board meeting or a formal dinner, our Lecture Theatre is a versatile space and is ideal for a range of different purposes.

    This room is light and airy, with high ceilings, large screen and a lectern. It has excellent audio-visual equipment and a PA system that is easy to operate.
