We’re pleased to announce that the new and improved Significance website is now live. The streamlined and updated website has been designed to allow users to easily access features, interviews and news from Significance, published by Oxford University Press in association with the RSS, American Statistical Association and Statistical Society of Australia.
For over 100 issues, Significance has been the magazine of choice for those interested in what statistics can teach us about the real world, with topics ranging from fighting TB in Uganda to using data to plan an Everest ascent.
In this era of fake news and misinformation, communicating high quality and engaging statistical stories to the general public is more important than ever. Indeed, the urge to set the record straight seems to fuel the writers of so many of the articles we publish.
– Anna Britten, Significance Editor
The new website will feature exclusive web content, further insight into articles from the current issue as well as information on subscribing to Significance magazine. You will also be able to find guidance and information on submitting articles for upcoming issues and meet the Significance team.
